Bruce Rabinowitz

Vice President

Bruce Rabinowitz has served as an attorney, business consultant, sales agent, and producer to numerous international and domestic clients in the television and film industries for more than 25 years.

Among his current responsibilities is the representation of RAI – Radiotelevisione Italiana’s vast catalogue of theatrical titles, classic Italian films, television series, documentaries, formats, sports, and musical programming and footage archive throughout North, Central, and South America for RAI’s sales division, based in Rome.

Additionally, he provides or has provided business and/or legal consultation to U.S. Spanish language broadcaster V-me Media; South Africa’s MultiChoice Studios; United Nations TV; Discovery Networks’s “Discovery Learning Alliance” in sub-Saharan Africa; IBC, a Los Angeles–based international program sales and channel development company; Mediakite, an international television production and development company; Eurocinema; Terra Entertainment; and Kairos Italy Theater, among various other broadcast, production, distribution, and licensing organizations.

For the past 17 years, he has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Television, Radio & Emerging Media (TREM) Department of Brooklyn College, teaching both undergraduate and graduate level courses centered on the global entertainment business and media law.

Rabinowitz formerly held the post of Vice President, International, at Viacom’s Showtime Networks, where he was responsible for identifying, researching, negotiating, marketing, and launching niche channels for the international marketplace.  Prior to that, he served as RAI Corporation’s Director of New Business & Legal, as well as Director of Commercial Sales for New York/London-based DLT Entertainment.
