Ilaria Amadasi

Born in Parma, Italy, Ilaria Amadasi’s introduction into professional theater took place when she co-founded the Theater Company “I 4 Cantoni” at the age of fifteen. Ilaria later was selected to attend the prestigious Teatro Stabile di Genova where she worked in various artistic positions both on and off the stage. She was chosen as the female lead of the stage adaptation of Franz Kafka’s The Castle and in the show, “Time of darkness”by H. Mankell and directed by Filippo Dini.
She also received a honorable mention from the national playwriting competition “In Punta di Penna” for the piece “Non ho urlato”.
Thanks to her knowledge of art and theater, she directed theater therapy workshops for children, as well as seminars in Traditional Theater at the Scuola Teatro Vita in Parma, Italy.
Ilaria moved to the United States in 2010 because of her deep desires to expand her cultural horizons and to introduce elements of Italian theater and culture to those who have not experienced it. In that spirit she has collaborated on several productions, since her arrival, at the Off-Broadway 45 Bleecker Theater at the Hollywood Fringe Festival and at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She is currently collaborating with Horse Trade Theater Group, Frog & Peach Theater Company and KIT- Kairos Italy Theater and she recently became a member of  the Drafts Theater Ensemble and Fixtitsolife Theater Company.

She is honored of becoming official member of Kairos Italy Theater and she is looking forward to what the future holds.
